Frequently Asked Questions
Questions before completing the client survey.
All items are delivered frozen.
How much food is included?
A typical Signature Batch Cook includes approximately five family-sized main dishes with about six quarts of each recipe, roughly 30 quarts total; two breakfast recipes with about 50 portions; and two protein-rich snack or dessert recipes with about 80 individually portioned pieces. Optional sides, soups, sauces, dressings, or pantry items may also be added.
How are meals packaged?
Food is completely cooled before packaging and freezing. Main dishes are generally packaged in BPA-free plastic freezer containers or heavy-duty freezer bags to keep meals safe, practical, and space-efficient in the freezer. All items are clearly labeled with dish name and appropriate storage or reheating information.
Can you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?
Yes. Each batch cook is customized around the household receiving it. Camille has experience with gluten-free, dairy-free, Paleo, whole-food, postpartum, therapeutic, and ingredient-conscious diets. Severe or medically complex allergies may require additional discussion to determine whether the production environment is appropriate.
Can you work with therapeutic diets?
Yes. Menus can be designed around established dietary guidelines such as gluten-free, dairy-free, Paleo, gut-supportive nutrition, low-histamine considerations, postpartum nourishment, high-protein eating, seed-oil-free cooking, and temporary elimination diets. Well Fed does not provide medical nutrition therapy or replace a physician or registered dietitian.
What areas do you serve?
Well Fed is based in Weatherford, Texas, and serves households along the Weatherford-to-Austin corridor. Availability depends on scheduling, route coordination, and location.
How much does the service cost?
Signature Batch Cook Delivery begins at $1,300 plus groceries. A personalized proposal is provided after the client survey and complimentary discovery call.
How long will the food last?
A typical batch cook is designed to provide several weeks of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and easy meal foundations. Most items are delivered frozen so the household can choose when to use each dish.
Can the menu be customized for children?
Yes. Family menus can include familiar flavors, hidden or finely processed vegetables, mildly seasoned options, lunchbox-friendly portions, high-protein breakfasts, nutrient-dense muffins and snacks, and flexible meal components.
Do I choose the menu?
Yes. The menu is developed collaboratively. After reviewing the client survey, Chef Camille creates a proposed menu based on needs, preferences, goals, lifestyle, budget, and storage space. Clients may request reasonable adjustments before shopping and production begin.
Where is the food prepared?
Meals are prepared by Chef Camille in her Weatherford kitchen, then completely cooled, portioned, packaged, labeled, frozen, and delivered. Well Fed is a batch-cooking delivery service rather than an in-home personal-chef service.
How do I get started?
The first step is to complete the Well Fed Client Survey. Chef Camille will personally review your responses and reach out within one to two business days to schedule a complimentary discovery call.
